Her Journey

Her story began with her interest in the idea of “Life” and “Death” in her childhood. This idea was inspired by a bedtime story composed by her dad as a response to her growing curiosity about death after attending the funeral of her favorite grandpa. As she grew older, taller, yet not too wiser, she had more question marks over her head. The big two were who had created God and why her elementary school teachers could not give her any answer.

As she grew older and older and thinner as if the world preyed on too many parts of her, she could see that all living people suffer from various things one way or another. However, for her, with all the extra sensitivity and intuition in her, she felt more. Things happened. She did not always like the way things happened. Things got mixed, a mixture of high and low. When she was too dependent on her mom’s guiding candle, cancer did not let her mom win the battle. When she had a passion for playing tennis as a national athlete, an accident destroyed her dexterous arm. When she gained well from a hustle culture, she got addiction, depression, and severe illness on her plate. When misery dominated her path more and more, she moved to Bali only to eventually find out that the beauty of the island was not a powerful band-aid for her bleeding life.

People say that we all have to live and die. Unfortunately, this part, right here, she did not want to live anymore. She wanted to die, and she made efforts for it. The list of tally drawings on her rustic wall had been updated too many times showing a dozen failures to die. The doctors said that it was just a series of suicidal thoughts that she had in her chest and head. The society said it was just a combination of her ego and ingratitude on her shoulder. That way, it was getting harder to breathe, stand, and think.

Shrouded by agony, she stopped thinking and started observing. Being black and blue, gravity won over her body as she lay down. Fortunately, from that angle, she could see more. She saw more kinds of humans. Among those kinds, she found her top two favorites: the people who make efforts to get healed and the people who help others to get healed. That part, right there, was her turning point. No more rushing into stopping her breath, she fought harder to get healed and dignified healers. At the time when she realized that the doctors’ pills did not always do the magic, she knocked on another door: holistic wellness practices. She assessed that this kind of healing method is the root of all medicine where it integrates not only physical, but also spiritual, mental, and emotional forms of well-being. Being helped, gradually, she found more progress in her healing journey along with doing arts, cookery, and sports as her coping mechanisms.

The next question mark was about what else to do when she was getting better. Another observation was done; Another insight warmed her heart. She could see that her passion had shifted after the long list of impediments, and this shifting was preferred. She noticed that she was not only healed by the help of holistic practitioners, but she was also inspired to be like them. Under the justification of kindness, she knew how content she was when she was helped to be healed, and she wanted others to get the same contentment. With the help of holistic experts’ guidance and her high energy to spread the gifts of healing, she spent years learning more about the wisdom of yoga, the flowing energy of qigong, the transformative touch of chi nei tsang massage, and the radiant power of reiki.

Aside from learning Taize meditation since she was 11 years old, in her adulthood, she added more experiences related to spiritual learning. In 2012, she started to be guided by Professor A. Sudiarja SJ to know Sadhana. Next, by his encouragement, she took Yoga Acharya under the guidance of the late Ma Archana and became a member of AMAYI (Asosiasi Meditasi Aushadh Yoga Indonesia). Subsequently, in 2020, she moved to Thailand to learn more about abdominal massage, facial massage along with taking the certifications of traditional reiki Mikao Usui and qigong with Master Rod Savides. Until now, still in the same country, the learning is still continuing as she believes in the perks of lifelong learning.

Reborn as a healthier person with renewed passion and ability, she now embarks on her journey as a holistic practitioner, healing people in need, making possibility no stranger to those who want to be healed. Now, she has a life. Now, she is living a life of a holistic practitioner while waiting for her death, something whose existence is fully accepted by her. The messages have to be spread: She is here to share, and she is here for dharma.  Allow her to share and empower you live a life that you deserve where both your physical and mental health synergistically improved leading to a better future. She is pleased to be at your service.
